Ready for Spring Break!
I'm working backstage for The Grapes of Wrath, so I'm exhausted and in dire need of a nap. I got my purple folder yesterday! I'll have my purple folder vlog up on Friday! :)

ACCEPTED!! °o°
Yesterday at 11:43am, I was accepted into the Walt Disney World College Program as an Attractions Cast Member!!!! I got my acceptance email exactly 2 weeks after I interviewed. New Vlog coming SOON. Until then, here's the survey to get to know me a little better:
1. Your name?: Michelle
2. Are you legal (over 21)?: Yep, I am 22.
3. Male or female?:Female
4. Gay, straight, bi (optional): Straight
5. Where do you live?: Montgomery County, PA
6. What role will you have at Disney?: Attractions
7. What are your arrival/departure dates/program (fall, fall advantage, fall quarter)?: Fall (August 9th, 2010 to January 7th, 2011)
8. Which apartment complex would you prefer to live at? Chatham is my top choice followed by Patterson. A quiet living environment is really important to me and my future roommate (Hi, Logan!), so we would prefer to avoid Vista if at all possible.
9. How many roommates/rooms would you like? (1-7 roommates, 1-4 rooms)? Any size is fine as long as people aren't constantly in each others' way or loud.
10. Do you like to party? Will you be hosting parties in your apartment?: From my two previous responses, this should be pretty easy to figure out. I love having a fun time with my friends. I love rock and roll and dancing. Still, a party in my apartment at 3am on a Wednesday is never going to happen. I'm over 21, so I do enjoy the occasional glass of wine, but no, keg stands and wild parties will not be happening in my apartment. Ever. lol
11. What's your favorite food, and more importantly, can you cook well?: My favorite food of all time is cheeseburgers. I make a mean baked ziti. lol. I'm sure if I had a cookbook, delicious things would happen.
12. If your friends could describe you in three words what would they be?: Funny, Classy, Sweet.
13. What kind of music/movies do you like?: I'm a rock and roller. I like rock and roll from the late fifties to today, depending on the band and the song. I love oldies, 90's alternative, and a few things from today. The only genre I vehemently dislike is rap.
14. Do you smoke, and if so, inside or outside?: Non-smoker, but I don't care if you do. Just do it outside.
15. Do you drink? (socially or alcoholic) If I go out, I'll probably order a cosmopolitan or a glass of wine with dinner. If I'm somewhere tropical, it'll probably a mai-tai. That pretty much sums it up for me.
16. Are you a night person or a morning person?: It depends. I'm not a grouch in the morning, but if you are blasting rap at 2am, don't expect me to be a nice person. lol
17. Are you driving or flying down?: I have no idea. All that will be worked out with my mommy over the summer. And yes, I said mommy.
18. What do you do for fun?: Hang out, watch movies, shop, go to the beach, go to concerts and NAP. lol
19. What is your favorite quote?: Check back soon. There are way too many to narrow it down right now.
20. What are you most excited about in being in the WDWCP?: Finally getting to LIVE IN FLORIDA. :)
21. Favorite things to do when not working: Sit back and enjoy the day.
22. Name one good quality about yourself: I'm polite.
23. Name one bad quality about yourself: Sometimes I'm too polite. lol
24: Your college: Longwood University
25: Your major: Theatre
26. Any medical conditions (optional): Just a raging case of senioritis.
27. Are you messy/tidy?: My room looks lived in. I like to have a place for everything, but sometimes I can be a little disorganized.
28. Anything else you want to state: I like being in my room, so if I'm sitting in there with the door closed, it's nothing personal, I just like my own space sometimes :)
29. Favorite Disney movie? The Little Mermaid. Hands down. But I do love CARS and Meet the Robinsons.
30. How many times have you been to Disney? 9 times, and I'm ready to make it 10!
31. Favorite park? EPCOT, circa 1999, before they got rid of Horizons, and updated Spaceship Earth, and Journey into Imagination. I loved when EPCOT was still EPCOT Center. Now, it's tied with Disney's Hollywood Studios (which will always be MGM to me)! lol
32. Favorite ride? Spaceship Earth before the refurb. Right now, it's Carousel of Progress. Classic Disney at its finest <3.
33. Favorite show? Voyage of the Little Mermaid
34. Favorite resort? Contemporary, before the refurb. (See, this is why I need to go back. So I can pick new favorites!)
35. Favorite dining? 50's Prime Time Cafe
36. Favorite character? Ariel. If I saw her in a parade, I would probably scream like a little girl. lol
37. I prefer to sleep in a room that has: QUIET! lol
38. I like to go to bed: when I'm good and tired. It depends on the day, but that's usually between midnight and 1.
39. I sleep better when the room is: again, QUIET. lol and kind of on the cold side so I can snuggle up in my bed.
40. I would prefer to sleep in a room that is: see above. please. lol.
41. I would prefer guests: be polite, quiet, and not messy.
42. I absolutely could not live with a roommate that: is obnoxious, loud, or messy.
43. Do you snore: Not that I'm aware of.
44. On your day off..what time would you wake up: Probably 10 or 11. 9 if I had
somewhere important to be.

Lazy Monday
Luckily, I finally got my blog the color I wanted and as you can see above, I also added a picture of Ariel <3.
Last night I also tokboxed with a LOT of fellow hopefuls and there may have been a few accepted people in there, too. I'm having trouble keeping track of everyone. I really need to find my camera!
Since I don't have class on Mondays or Fridays, this has seemed like the longest weekend EVER. I have a crew meeting today for The Grapes of Wrath, but that's pretty much the only thing I'll be doing except checking my email.
I'll be thinking purple for everyone! °o°

Tonight is mainly going to consist of me fiddling around with editing my blog, and not watching the Superbowl. If I can get my blog background to do what I want it to, it should be turquoise the next time you see it!

Where to begin?
This is my first blog and I'm not exactly sure what to say so I'll start by introducing myself. My name is Michelle and I have applied to be a part of the Disney College Program for Fall of 2010. I've gotten in touch with a lot of really nice people over facebook and meebo, and I'm looking forward to getting in touch with more people soon.
I interviewed with Annette on Thursday at 4:30pm, and since then I've been patiently waiting for an email, though I know it will probably be a while.
